Welcome Slides

Beginning the summer of 2019, I have had the opportunity to work with the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy’s Communications team. My internship has been able to be focused on my passions—design—and these are some of the graphics I have done under the position! Each design is based off of the updated website and official UVA branding guidelines. It was my first time working with branded guidelines and the University of Virginia is especially strict with their brand. They have set colors to use, fonts, font sizes shapes, ways to use the shape, etc. Then, as you go into the divisional schools - which is what Batten is, they have more fonts, font sizes, logos, shapes, and color settings you can use. Each design is inspired by the guidelines set up by the school and other things needed for the graphic and the message needed to be sent. Please contact me to learn more about individual pieces!

These images are from a slideshow I created to be played in the entrance of the building. I took different events happening at Batten and things that reflected the culture of the school and turned them into branded art.
